It all began in 1987 with the visionary insight of Engineer Cataldo Romeo who, supported by his brother Giovanni, started a true revolution. At a time when generating electricity from the sun almost seemed like magical alchemy, they began installing hundreds of systems in the most remote and inaccessible locations of the province of Cosenza. They brought light where the national grid did not reach, and shortly afterwards built one of the first photovoltaic power plants in Italy. Romeo Group didn’t simply follow a trend — it literally paved the way. Being genuine pioneers at a national level gives us today field experience and technical know-how that simply cannot be replicated.
