Compared to 2019, the electricity bills of Italian businesses have risen by more than 50%.
And every international crisis can push prices back up in just a few weeks.
Conflicts, geopolitical tensions, speculation on gas markets: the price of energy you pay on your bill doesn’t depend on how much you consume, but on what’s happening on the other side of the world. Energy efficiency is the only tool that allows you to break this dependence — not tomorrow, today.
Your home, your warehouse, your office consume more energy than they should. Not because you use too many appliances or keep the lights on: because the building in which you live or work was designed when energy cost one-fifth of what it does today.
Walls that don’t insulate. Windows that leak. Oversized heating systems that burn gas to heat the outside air. Roofs that in summer turn rooms into ovens and in winter let the heat escape. Every month you pay the bill for design choices made 20, 30 or 40 years ago — when oil was cheap and no one was talking about the energy transition.
The result? An Italian family spends on average between €2,000 and €3,000 a year on energy. A service sector business can reach €6,000–10,000 a month. And every time the international market stirs, those numbers go up.
Energy efficiency doesn’t mean giving up comfort. It means achieving the same result — or a better one — consuming less. A well-insulated home maintains its temperature with one-third of the energy.
A photovoltaic system with storage produces the electricity you need without buying it from the grid. An LED lighting system cuts consumption by 70%. A heat pump heats and cools with an efficiency four times higher than a traditional boiler.
We’re not talking about futuristic technologies: these are solutions available today, well-tested, and in most cases financeable with incentives that cover from 40% to 80% of the investment.
The reduction in energy costs achievable by combining photovoltaic, storage, thermal insulation and system replacement.
You produce the energy yourself
A photovoltaic system on the roof turns sunlight into electricity at zero cost for more than 25 years. Integrated with storage batteries, it allows you to also use the energy in the evening and at night, bringing self-consumption up to 80–90%. Every kilowatt-hour self-produced is one you don’t buy from the grid — and whose price doesn’t depend on any conflict.
The first barrier against waste
Thermal coat, roof insulation, replacement of windows: these are measures that drastically reduce losses and allow rooms to be heated and cooled using a fraction of the energy previously required. Indoor comfort noticeably improves and the bill drops in a structural way — not for one quarter, but forever.
High-efficiency heating and cooling
The latest generation of heat pumps extract thermal energy from air, water or ground, delivering up to 4–5 kWh of heat for every kWh of electricity consumed. They replace gas boilers and air conditioners with a single integrated system, and are perfectly powered by the energy produced by photovoltaics.
The fastest savings
Replacing traditional lighting with LED technology is the measure with the shortest payback: consumption reductions of up to 70%, longer lifespan, almost zero maintenance. For businesses and Public Administrations, the savings are immediate and measurable from the very first bill.
Savings become collective
Joining a REC means sharing the renewable energy produced locally and accessing an incentive tariff paid by the GSE for 20 years. You don’t need to own a system: even those who join simply as consumers benefit from the economic advantages of sharing. Romeo Group Fotovoltaica has already set up 6 active RECs across the territory.
Operating as a certified Energy Service Company, Romeo Group takes on the risk of the energy investment itself. We don't sell products: we guarantee results. If the system doesn't produce as expected, the problem is ours, not the customer's.
Since 1987, in Calabria, Basilicata and Southern Italy. We are not a company that discovered renewables last year: we brought solar energy where the electricity grid didn't reach, when photovoltaics still seemed like science fiction.
From the energy analysis to the design, from installation to grid connection, from GSE paperwork to maintenance: an in-house team of engineers, surveyors and certified installers manages every phase. The customer doesn't have to look for other professionals.
Tax deductions, Conto Termico 3.0, PNRR contribution for RECs, Transition 5.0 Plan for businesses: we know every available tool and handle all the red tape, from application to disbursement.
Every month that passes without acting is a month of bills paid at a price someone else decided for you. Energy efficiency is not an expense: it’s an investment that pays for itself and creates value — for your wallet, for your property, for the environment.
