Campana invests in photovoltaics with Fotovoltaica Srl
The Municipality of Campana, in the province of Cosenza, is preparing to create a Renewable Energy Community (REC) thanks to the collaboration with Fotovoltaica Srl, a leading company in the photovoltaic and renewable energy sector.
The project’s goal is to reduce energy costs and increase the territory’s autonomy through the installation of photovoltaic systems. Citizens will be able to join as producer-consumers or simple consumers, benefiting from incentives of up to 40% for the construction of their own system, thanks to the funds allocated for municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants.
Mayor Agostino Chiarello stressed the importance of seizing this opportunity, describing it as “a train not to be missed”, with the submission of the executive project planned by March 2025.
With Fotovoltaica Srl, Campana is heading toward a more sustainable, convenient and innovative future.
